Andalusia – April 16-24

A Gourmet Adventure in Andalusia with cooking lessons, tapas tours, wine tastings and some superlative meals, staying in Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Ubeda We will visit Sanlucar, the port from which Christopher Columbus and Magellan set off on their voyages of discovery, and where the salty sea breezes give Manzanilla its distinctive taste.

 Sicily – May 30 – June 4

Visit the spectacular Unesco World Heritage sites of Ragusa, Noto and Modica, swim in the sea so irresistible in the famous Montalbano TV series, or sit at a shady table eating deliciously fresh seafood, with a glass of chilled Grillo or Frappato. We will enjoy Sicilian specialities in simple, local trattorias, a sumptuous meal with chef Vincenzo Candiano at Michelin-starred Locanda Don Serafino and a learning lunch in the fascinating Eremo del Giubiliana We will drive to the charming small fishing port of Marzamemi, once an important Tonnara, to shop and eat at the Cortile Arabo, and there are many other delights in store – gelati, canoli, cassata and the intriguing Atzec-style chocolate at Modica’s Antica Dolceria Bonjuta.

Each evening we will return to enjoy the peace of Albergo Novecento in the small Unesco site, Scicli.
